- After I save an Inform report, I can't find or retrieve it. I'm running Inform through a Remote Desktop connection. How can I get my reports.
- When you run Inform through a Remote Desktop connection, and then run and save a report, the reports are saved on the Server computer where Inform is installed rather than on your local computer from which you launch the connection.
You have two configuration options that will make it simple for you to retrieve your reports:
- Configure your connection to use local drives:

- Click the Local Resources tab.
- Under Local devices and resources, click More.
- Select the Drives check box, or expand Drives, and select the check boxes beside just those specific local drives you want to access. Click OK.
You will now have access to your local drives for saving the report.
- Use File Explorer to map a server drive, and then save your report to that drive. To learn how, see Microsoft's article Map a network drive.
