The Sales Dollars trend KPI displays 3-year trend for your total sales. total profit dollars, or total profit margin, with filters for customers, salespeople, and locations.
- Open this Dashboard as described in Review inventory KPIs
The 3-year sales trend (represented by the bars) includes a secondary axis that shows the number of invoices (represented by the red line), which allows you to compare invoice quantity with sales volume, as one measure of the cost of producing those sales.
- To review details about gross margin or profit trends, or to filter the view by salesperson, customer, etc, click the View Detail button, at the bottom of the graph.
- By default, this dashboard displays sales trend. To change to Gross Margin or Profit, click the option button, and then click Search.
- To filter the chart by any of the following criteria, drop down the Filter list, and choose your criteria, and then click Search. Select/clear check boxes to update the chart. For example, the chart below displays Gross Margin trend over three years for (fictional) 7-Eleven stores.

- Territory
- Branch
- Division
- Customer
- Primary Vendor
