When you print a report, it appears exactly as it appears on the screen with no additional formatting. You may modify the format, including fonts, colors, and spacing, prior to the export so the report prints just how you want it.
- Open an existing pivot report, as described in View a pivot table (Pivot Table Explorer).
- From the report File menu, click Export > Settings.
or From the report File menu, click Export > Preview. Then on the Print Preview window, click Settings toolbar button
.
- The Export Settings properties pop-up appears. To modify settings, click the tabs along the top, as described below.

Print
- From the Print tab, modify the printer settings if a printer is connected, as well as the Grid layout..
- For more information on Printer settings, see your Windows printer documentation. These settings are available only if you have a printer set up in Inform ERP.
- To hide the column or row headers on the exported report, clear the Print column header and/or the Print row header check boxes.
- To adjust the grid layout, choose By Rows or By Columns.
- From the Print tab, modify the printer settings if a printer is connected, as well as the Grid layout..

Page Setup
- From the Page setup tab, modify the Page orientation, margins, and paper size.
- Click the Page orientation, either portrait or landscape.
- Type your desired values into the Left, Top, Right, and Bottom Margins, noting the Measure unit, below the margin controls.
- You can also choose a new Paper size from the list.
- From the Page setup tab, modify the Page orientation, margins, and paper size.

Headers and footers
- From the Headers and footers tab, modify the title that appears in the Report header and the page number format of the report footer.
- In the Customize page title area, type a new report title into the box below. To change the font, click the F; to change the text alignment, click the alignment tool.
- In the Customize page number area, type the format to apply to the page number. By default. it is
Page {0:D} from {1:D}
which appears as
Page 1 from 10.To use just a simple page number, change it to
Page {0}
or simply,
{0}. - Modify the font and text alignment of the Footer as above.
- From the Headers and footers tab, modify the title that appears in the Report header and the page number format of the report footer.

Color and font
- From the Color and font tab, modify the font and color of each element in the report layout.
- First click the element that you want to modify, such as Data or Member Total.
- Then click the property that you want to change and choose from the pop-up that appears. For example, to change the Font color, click Font color, and then click the desired color in the palette pop-up.
- Repeat for each data element you want to change.
- From the Color and font tab, modify the font and color of each element in the report layout.
- When you have finished, click OK. The settings are applied the next time you export or print the report.
- To make sure you have adjusted the settings properly, Preview a pivot report .
- You can then Print a pivot report.
