You can create Purchase Order report templates and then run these reports on demand. For example, you can set up a report that returns all backorders, and then run it on demand specifying a range of dates.
You have many options to filter the report based on the information that is on the Purchase Order Header and Purchase Order Details tabs.

- Go to Purchasing>Purchase Order Report
- On the Report tab, choose the date range for which you want to pull data in the Starting Date and the Ending Dates.
- Click the Header Criteria tab.
- In the Display Columns panel. select the check box beside at least 1 columns. Keep an eye on the Total Length listed at the bottom of the list; this value should not exceed 132, or data will get cut off in the report.
- Click Save As.
Type a name for the report, and then click OK.

To clear the report data, click New.
You can run this report any time by selecting it from the Report box, specifying a date range, and then clicking Run.

- Go to Purchasing>Purchase Order Report
- In the Report box, click
and choose the report you want to run.
- On the Report tab, choose the date range for which you want to pull data in the Starting Date and the Ending Date.
- Select any other applicable
- Click Run.

On the Print Document pop-up that appears, you may choose to Print, View, Send, or Save the document, depending on your needs.

- Branch: The branch in which the Purchase Orders were made. To include all branches, leave this box blank; otherwise choose the branch on which you want to report.
- Vendor: The vendor with whom the PO was placed.
- Starting Date: (required) Date of the earliest P/O you want to include. MM/DD/YYYY
- Ending Date: (required) Date of the latest you want to include. MM/DD/YYYY
- Summary or Detail: Summary includes only high level information, including date and total; Detail adds items ordered and subtotals. If you choose Detail, then a Detail tab will appear allowing you to choose the specific details that you want to include.
- Sort by: The order in which the data will appear in the report, by Branch, Vendor, PO Number, PO Date, Buyer, Ship Via, Terms, Request Date, and Warehouse.
- Buyer, Terms, Ship Via, and Warehouse: You may include one or more of any of these filter criteria. In the applicable box, click Add, and then specify the value; For example, to create a report on Overnight shipping only, go to the Ship Via panel, choose Equal To, and then click Add Warehouse. Click the
and choose Overnight.

- Order Status Selection: Select which purchase order statuses to include or exclude. To specifically include a status, select the check box and choose the operator Equal To. To exclude a status, select the check box and choose the operator Not Equal To.
- Buyer, Terms, Ship Via, and Warehouse: You may include one or more of any of these filter criteria. In the applicable box, click Add, and then specify the value.
- Display Columns: (required) Select the check boxes beside each purchase order property you want to view in the report. These properties will appear in columns.

If you have chosen a Detail report on the Report tab, then an additional Detail tab appears, enabling you to select which detail you want to include in the report.
- Line Detail: Select whether you want to include Complete purchase orders, Incomplete purchase orders, or both.
- Product Line, Price Group, Vendor, and Buy Line: You may include one or more of any of these filter criteria. In the applicable box, click Add, and then specify the value.
- Display Columns: (required) Select the check boxes beside each purchase order detailed property you want to view in the report. These properties will appear in columns.

- Go to Purchasing>Purchase Order Report
- In the Report box, click
and choose the report you want to run.
- Click Delete.
- On the confirmation message that appears, click OK.
