You can optionally add an About Us and/or a Contact Us page to your eCommerce site.
The About Us page displays a custom description of your company. You can add any details you want and format the text fonts and colors.
The Contact Us page provides your store hours and address information, as well as branch locations. Customers can use this form to provide comments, their name, and contact information. These comments are sent as an email to all members of your Notify User list: See Configure rules for eCommerce login, product, and ordering
- Go to File>Company>Inform eCommerce.
- On the left navigation bar, click Contact Us.
- Click Edit.
- To add the About Us page, click the About Us tab.
- Type information about your company of website. You can use the formatting ribbon for to modify fonts, styles and colors. You can also apply list formatting , add links, and check spelling.
Tip: If you are inserting an image from a Local File with Absolute Path, then consider selecting the Insert local image as base64 option. This option should improve page load performance.
Base64 is a type of image encoding. When you inline images into HTML with base64. the Base64 encoded image becomes part of the html and displays directly, rather than the web browser having to download the image. When you select this option, Inform encodes your image for you. To learn more about Base64, including how to convert your images and then embed in HTML, see HotJar Base64 Image or one of many other internet resources available. - To upload an HTML file you already created, click the folder icon and then specify the path.
Tip: If you do not want to include an About Us page, then leave this tab blank.

- To add a Contact Us page, click the Contact Info tab.
- Type information about your Main Location
Type the store hours for your main location, and then specify your address and contact information. This information will appear on the Contact Us page within your eCommerce site..
- Choose which branch
Select the branch locations that you want to display on your Contact Us page. locations to display.
- Type information about your Main Location
- Click Save.
Note: When a customer completes the Contact Us form, emails are sent to those users specified in Company>Inform eCommerce. See Choose who receives eCommerce order notifications (eCommerce)
