You can add notes to help other users customize and work with your ARW report. These notes appear whenever the report in opened from ARW. They do not appear when the report is run.

Open the report to which you want to add notes in the Advanced Report Writer.
- Go to Analytics > Advanced Report Writer.
- In the Report box, type the name of the report, or click
and select the report you want to work with.
- Press the Tab key.
- Click Edit.
- Click the Notes tab.
- Type the notes you want to appear when the report is opened. These notes should help the report developer to customize the report. For example, add notes about how relative dates are used or about how to customize the layout.
- Click Save.
- The next time the report is opened, the notes appear.
