Use Units of Measure in the ordering, shipping, and pricing of your products.
Create, edit, and delete units of measure (UoM) from File > Product > Unit of Measure, and then assign a unit of measure to a product on the Main tab of the Setup page on the Product Master.
Setting up units of measure is described below; to learn how to assign a unit of measure to a product, see Assign units of measure to a product.
Warning: Changing pricing for Units of Measure (UoM) , deleting them, or changing any UoM properties may adversely affect inventory valuation and inventory GL. Use caution when using this functionality.

- Go to File > Product > Unit of Measure.
- Click New.
- In the search box at the top of the page, using up to three characters, type an abbreviation of the unit of measure, and then press the Tab key. For example, EA.
- In the Description box, type up to 30 characters of a more user friendly description. For example. Each.
- Click Save. You can now assign this unit of measure to products for ordering, shipping, or pricing. See Assign units of measure to a product.

- Go to File > Product > Unit of Measure.
- Type or search
for the unit of measure that you want to edit. Press the Tab key.
- Click Edit.
- Modify the Description of the unit of measure.
- Click Save.

- Edit a unit of measure as described above.
- Click Delete.
- On the Confirmation message that appears, click OK.

- Go to File > Product > Unit of Measure.
- Click Report.
- On the Field Selection pop-up that appears, you can choose which fields appear. Drag the fields into the Print Order area, and then click OK.
- On the Print Document pop-up, click View.
