For each product, you can attach internal notes that pop up each time anyone accesses information about the product in Inform ERP. These notes allow you to communicate to the sales team or purchasing team when placing on a sales order or purchase order. The only time these notes pop up are in Sales order, purchase order, and product master.
To attach notes to a product
- Go to the Product Master and create or open a product as described in Create and edit products.
- Click the Notes tab.
- Click Edit.
- Type internal comments that you want to appear when the product is accessed within Inform ERP.
- Click Save.
*Edit notes by going back to this page, clicking Edit, making changes, and saving.
*Delete the note by first editing it as above, and then clicking the Delete button.
*If you don't see notes when you access the product, then go to File>Company>Master and set Alert Product Internal Notes to Yes.
