Keywords work with the Inform search to help you quickly locate a product. Typically, keywords are words or phrases that are not included in the Product Description, or numbers that are not included in the Manufacturer's Number or UPC fields. Before adding keywords, you may want to contact DDI Customer Care to discuss the fields currently used in your search index.
- Go to the Product Master and create or open a product as described in Create and edit products.
- Click the Keywords tab.
- Click Edit.
- Click Add Keyword.
- In the new row that appears, type the Keyword you want to associate with the product. When users type the keyword into the Product box on any page, Inform will return this product in the search results. Keywords are not case sensitive.
- Repeat the previous two steps for each keyword you want to add.
- Click Save.
