You can view the lots assigned to the product, along with each lots current available quantity for the warehouse selected.
To edit lots, clicking the Update Lots button: see Use lots to manage inventory.
- Go to File > Product > Master, and then click the Analysis tab.
- In the Product box, type or search for the product you want to work with.
- Click the Lots tab.
All open lots to which the product belongs for the product appear.
Review the following information about each lot:
- Lot No (File>Product>Analysis: Lots)
Lot Number. The lot reference number. Typically used to separate your inventory for tracking purposes.: The lot reference number. This is typically used to separate your inventory for tracking purposes. This separation can be used for.
- Country of Origin: The product may be manufactured from different countries and each country is added as a Lot Number.
- Certifications or Ratings: The product may be certified to maintain a certain level of quality (such as a metal pipe rated to support a high temperature).
- Product Differentiation: The product may be available in different colors or packaging (such as wire which may have the same gauge but be available in different colors).
- Lot Date
The date on which the lot was either created or assigned to the product.
- Mfg Date
Manufacturer Date. The date on which the manufacturer created the product.
- Exp Date
Expiration Date. The date on which the materials within the lot will expire.
- On S/O
The inventory quantity on open Sales Orders now and being picked from this lot.
- On S/T
On Stock Transfer. The inventory quantity on current open stock transfers being picked from this lot.
- On Hand
The quantity of the product inventory in the lot.
- Available
The quantity of inventory of this product available for future sales orders.
- Lot No (File>Product>Analysis: Lots)
- To modify the lots to which the product is assigned, click the Update Lots button.
- When you have finished reviewing lots, click Exit.
