SMTP allows you to email from Inform ERP using your company email address. It is required for several features in the system, such as the Inform Marketing Manager, Advanced Report Writer Scheduler, and Contact Email. Be sure that your system users have email addresses in the User Master, as emails sent to individual contacts will come from their address. This allows contacts to reply directly to the user's external email.

Obtain your SMTP settings from your email provider. The values shown in the example below will differ based on your email provider.
- Go to File > Company > Master.
- Click the SMTP Server Information tab.
- Click Edit and enter the required information, which you can obtain from your email service (ex. Outlook, Google, Yahoo).
- Click Save.
