After you generate a pivot report layout, you can export it for either further manipulate or to share with others. This is helpful for sharing reports with other users who do not have access to the Analytics menu, and for saving snapshots of your data.
Before exporting, you can modify the look of the exported report by adjusting colors and fonts, adding a title, adjusting page orientation, and setting margins. These changes will be applied to the exported report only; the report layout in Inform ERP will not change. For more information, see Adjust pivot report export settings
Important Drill down information is not saved: data is exported exactly as you see it on the screen; you will not be able to drill down into data subsets in the exported format.
- Open the report layout you want to export. See View a pivot table (Pivot Table Explorer)
- Apply the desired formatting changes to page and font display. See Adjust pivot report export settings.
- On the Pivot Report Editor, go to File > Export > Export.
- From the Save Cube As pop up that appears, choose the format and the location you want to save the report.
You can export to Excel, PDF, or Image File (TIFF). If you want to make changes to the report data, choose Microsoft Excel. If you want to share the report, select Adobe Acrobat PDF. If you want to embed the report in another document, choose Image File TIFF.
- Click Save.
