Use Major Groups to group related price groups in Inform ERP.
Create, edit, and delete Major Groups:

Under File, choose Product.

Click Major Group.
Assign Major Groups:

Under File, choose Product.

Click Product Line.

Under File, choose Product.

Click Major Group.

Click New.

In the Major Group box, using up to 10 characters, type a brief description of the major price group, and then press the [Tab] key. For example. "FAC MAINT."

In the Description box, type up to 30 characters of a more user friendly description. For example, "Facility Maintenance."

Click Save.

Under File, choose Product.

Click Product Line.

In the Product Line box, type or search for the product line you want to assign a major group to.

Click Edit.

In the Major Group box, search
for the major group.

Click Save.

Under File, choose Product.
-
Click Major Group.
-
In the Major Group box, type or search
for the group you want to edit. Press the [Tab] key.

Click Edit.

Modify the Description of the major group.
-
Click Save.

Edit a major group as described above.

Click Delete.
-
On the Confirmation message that appears, click OK.

Go to File > Product > Major Group.

Click Report.
-
On the Field Selection pop-up that appears, you can choose which fields appear. Drag the fields into the Print Order area, and then click OK.

On the Print Document pop-up, click View.
