Use Major Buy Lines to group related buy lines into a more general buy line category.
Create, edit, and delete Major Buy Lines from File>Product>Major Buy Line, and then assign a buy line to a Major Buy Line on File>Product>Buy Line. These procedures are all described below.

- Go to File > Product > Major Buy Line.
- Click New.
- In the Major Buy Line box, using up to 10 characters, type a brief description of the major buy line, and then press the Tab key.
- In the Description box, type up to 30 characters of a more user friendly description.
- Click Save. You can now group other buy lines under this major buy line.

- Go to File > Product > Buy Line.
- In the Buy Line box, type or search for the line that you want to assign to a Major Buy Line.
- Click Edit.
- In the Major Buy Line box, click
and choose the parent buy line.
- Click Save.

- Go to File > Product > Major Buy Line.
- In the Major Buy Line box, type or search
for the buy line you want to edit. Press the Tab key.
- Click Edit.
- Modify the Description of the major buy line.
- Click Save.

- Edit a major buy line as described above.
- Click Delete.
- On the Confirmation message that appears, click OK.

- Go to File > Product > Major Buy Line.
- Click Report.
- On the Field Selection pop-up that appears, you can choose which fields appear. Drag the fields into the Print Order area, and then click OK.
- On the Print Document pop-up, click View.
