Inform Mail is not traditional email; rather it is mail within the system that allows you to communicate with other departments and coworkers. It also allows you to receive department specific notifications from the system. For a complete list of these notifications, see Automated system mail notifications.
You can also customize when Inform mail is sent based on specific triggers. For example, through options in the Company, Customer, Product, and Vendor Master screens, you can set the system to send you notifications when a Sales Order does not meet the minimum Gross Profit percentage, a product reaches the critical inventory level in your warehouse, or you receive products that you need to fill a Sales Order.
You can also send and receive person-to-person mail among Inform ERP users.
