In these scenarios, you will learn how to review and bill out customer invoices.
Note: An order cannot be billed if the user has it open and locked in Shipping Confirmation.

- Go to Sales>Invoicing>Invoicing.
- Click the Billing tab.
- You can move all orders directly into a billing batch by selecting Sales Orders, or you can bill a specific delivery route by selecting Truck.
- To move orders immediately, make sure Sales Orders
When billing, sales orders that meet a specific criteria will be added to the batch. Alternatively, use the Truck option which limits orders to be billed to a specific delivery route. is selected, and then optionally enter a Branch
The default branch on the order, which overrides the branch of the logged in users who is creating the order. The default branch will set the warehouse on the order as well..
Note If each location is responsible for their own billing, then part of the workflow should be to enter a branch. If one central branch handles all billing, then leave this option blank, which allows all branches to be billed.
- To bill a specific delivery route, select the Truck option. Then specify the Truck's Scheduled Date and the Truck ID.
- To move orders immediately, make sure Sales Orders
- Click Bill.

- Go to Sales>Invoicing>Invoicing.
- Click the Invoicing tab.
- If you want to filter the results, complete the Branch, Customer, Salesman, and/or other details on this page, and then click Search. To get all results, click Search now.
- On the Invoice Preview that appears, review the invoices. Scroll to the right to reveal more details,
- To open and correct an order, click the order number.
- Make sure you review all invoices highlighted in red. These invoices have Exceptions
Orders that meet certain criteria, based on system configuration. These exception orders require review and possible correction prior to billing.. Hover over the invoice to view the Exception reason. Note that some invoices with Exceptions might be suspended as well.
- When an invoice is ready to be finalized and sent out, select the check box beside it.
- Print finalized invoices. Depending on system configuration, print may actually print, fax, or email the invoice.
- To post to accounts receivable, click Yes on the confirmation message that appears. To leave the batch open, click No.
Note: This step creates and posts the invoice. Fax and emailed invoices are sent out overnight. It's recommended to confirm delivery the next day using the Sent Results Report.

You can configure customer default sale order, invoice, and send options on General page of the Customer Master. Go to File>Customer>Master: Setup, General.
